McKay and I went to a party at Lincoln's work. After they got through dunking the "big wigs" McKay got a chance to go up and get dunked. He was begging to go up and have a chance at it. He got dunked several times. It was such a hot day that he had the best seat of all!

Halley surprised us by telling us of her intentions to get married this year. She has found her sweetheart, and they were married on June 22, 2007. We haven't had much of a chance to get to know Ryan, but we trust Halley and know she has chosen a very good man to share her life with. Ryan is from Fruit Heights, Utah and served a mission in Tawaiin. They both attend the University of Utah, he as a finance major and she as a vocal major. They met at work. TGI Fridays.

Above is Halley's wedding bouquet . . . . .

Wow, what a crowd!!

After the wedding we headed to Southern Utah to show the boys the "red rock" area of Utah. Here, we are hiking in Zion's Canyon at a place called Angel's Landing. The hike was 5 miles round trip. On this day the temperature was 108 degrees and I swear it felt hotter than that!!! With much mumbling and grumbling from most especially me, we made it to the top. Well . . . . Lincoln, Justin and Chancy made it to the top. The last 1/2 mile of the hike had steep cliffs sometimes off in both directions and the forest service has put in chains to hold on to so you don't fall. McKay and I didn't do the last little bit, and sat and watched as quite a few hikers chickened out with us.

More pictures of Zion's Canyon and our hiking adventures.

Looking down on the trail we just climbed in Bryce Canyon.

Spectacular Bryce Canyon, This is me (Tina) and McKay

We decided to take a horse ride in Bryce Canyon. I was hot and tired and the horses seemed an easy way to see the canyon without expending our own energy. I think it was 111 degrees that day. Great memories!!! we were thinking. . . . Well we will remember this ride. During the ride, a storm blew in and thundered and lighteninged (a word?) and blew and rained. We were told that if our hats blew off they would spook the horses and we would have trouble. Trouble we had. Notice the middle picture . . . no hats. The two others have hats. The no hat picture was after Justin's horse got spooked, ran away, and threw him off, leaving him with an injured back. He had lots of Ranger attention after that (they are EMTs) an ambulance ride and several hours in Panguitch, Utah in the emergency room. Hopefully he will heal soon. We found out that Justin has an extra bone in his back that was injured. A bone is a bone and it hurts him like heck!!!

This picture was taken in East Zion's Canyon just after we drove through the tunnel. Our kids like to hold their breath while going through tunnels to try to see if they can make it all the way though. Not possible in this tunnel.
