Playing catch up

Today will be the fourth day in a row home with a sick teenager.

He doesn't do sick well!  Do any of us do sick well?

I was looking back at some older pictures and decided I need to so some blogging.

Over the Christmas holiday, my daughter's high school friend, and now MY friend, (her becoming an adult is the great equalizer) Tamesha had a party to celebrate her new bachelor's degree in music.

I had the best time at the party meeting her family and generally goofing around with them.  They were very welcoming and kind and so fun loving!

Evidence of the fun I had was the soreness of my cheeks from smiling.  :-)

Over the holiday we were able to take Tamesha and her husband out for dinner.  What an awesome couple they are!

Thanks for the good times over the holiday Tamesha!

On another note..........Tamesha, I'll never forget the complete surprise and jaw dropping moment when your aunt said she'd been born with six fingers on each hand........and they lopped the extra digits off at birth!  Incredible. (Sometime later I found out that this is quite common in Africa.  Who knew?)
